The Big Playground

Life is a bunch of games, with a beginning and a sure end. Some of us have longer playtimes, some have less. Some started with handicaps, some earn it throughout the game. But what we all have are the chances, one after another.

And world is our playground. The whole wide world. With each part promising different games, at different times. Anytime, anywhere, we can all play.

So when a major setback makes me upset, I just move on. To another place, creating another era, playing another game. Why bother trying to keep winning when there are a whole lots of new exciting challenges waiting for me outside?

No, I never expect life to hand me a plate of happiness. Instead, I will earn it. If not here, I'll look at some other place. If not now, I'll work for tomorrow.

Because the world is a big playground, and I'm playing the game of life

I haven't play them all
To satisfy the hunger
Though fall after fall
I'm still looking for more
And more...
At the end of the day
It's a big playground after all

He said I will lose this game
He said I will become tame
He said I will turn lame
And cower in shame
That's what he said
But I ain't...
He's just a voice inside me
A voice between glum and ecstasy
But me and him, we are not the same
In this big playground
I will remain...

Who's to say when my time is up?
Who's to say this is where I stop?
Until the end is finally here
I will keep my roll...
And I will keep my rock
The big playground
I want to be at the top

Forgive me not

How could he know this new dawn's light
Would change his life forever?
Set sail to sea but pulled off course
By the light of golden treasure

Was he the one causing pain
With his careless dreaming?
Been afraid
Always afraid
Of the things he's feeling
He could just be gone

He Could just be gone
He would just sail on
He'll just sail on

How can I be lost?
If I've got nowhere to go?
Searched for seas of gold
How come it's got so cold?
How can I be lost
In remembrance I relive
And how can I blame you
When it's me I can't forgive?

These days drift on inside a fog
It's thick and suffocating
His sinking life outside it's hell
Inside intoxicating
He's run aground
Like his life
Water much too shallow
Slipping fast
Down with his ship
Fading in the shadows now
A castaway

They've
All gone
Away

They've gone away

How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?
Search for seas of gold
How come it's got so cold?
How can I be lost
In remembrance I relive
And how can I blame you
When it's me I can't forgive?

Forgive me
Forgive me not
Forgive me
Forgive me not
Forgive me
Forgive me not
Forgive me
Forgive me, why can't I forgive me?
