I always wonder how Internet feels like in the early years. Coming from a rural village, I never get a taste of Internet until my mid-teens, when ADSL is already nationwide, and broadband is emerging. So I never experience the days of old DSL, let alone dial-ups.
Wider downstream data pipes means more media can be downloaded to users' machine, in other words the world wide web I was introduced to was already full of images.
Hence I really love the idea created by the fellas at mass:werk, where you can experience Google as if it's still 1980's!
