Check If Someone Else Is Using Your Gmail Account

A friend asked me how to check whether someone else is using (hacked into) her GMail account. Well, thanks to the folks at Googleplex, it is actually very easy. You just need to check the account activities, which GMail provided.


1) At the bottom of your GMail page, look for 'Last account activity:' and click Details





It will show you recenet activities (or logins to your account). Between access types, IP addresses, and login times, I'm sure you will notice if any of them are not performed by you :)





So next time you suspect someone is using your GMail account, you know where to look
